An embedded system is a special purpose computer that is used inside of a device. For example, a microwave contains an embedded system that accepts input from the panel, controls the LCD display, and turns on and off the heating elements that cook the food. Embedded systems generally use micro controllers that contain many functions of a computer on a single device. Motorola and Intel make some of the most popular micro controllers.

An internet work is a collection of individual networks, connected by intermediate networking devices, that functions as a single large network. Internetworking refers to the industry, products, and procedures that meet the challenge of creating and administering internet works.
EAI
Enterprise Application Integration. A set of processes, software and hardware tools, methodologies and technologies. When implemented together, they have the aim of consolidating, connecting and organizing all of a businesses computer applications, data and business processes (both legacy and new) into a seamlessly interfaced framework of system components to allow real-time exchange, management and easy reformulation of all of a companies mission critical information and knowledge.

Workflow management is a technology that involves the automation of business processes. By controlling business processes, workflow management ensures that applications used in the business process are initiated and presents the necessary information to the right group or person at the right time. The end result is the creation of efficient, effective and manageable business processes.
